DAILY 1,90,000 SAMSUNG GALAXY S3 HANDSETS SOLD OUT IN MARKET

It is the major challenge for Nokia, Apple and other mobile makers company that Samsung is now admitted its Samsung Galaxy S3 is selling about 1, 90,000 in every single day. Indeed, Samsung has risen to the top of the worldwide smart phone market on the success of its Android Galaxy Device line. The device manufacturer shared in a January Flicker photo that sales of its Galaxy devices have passed the 100 million-units mark. Samsung launched the Galaxy line in May 2010.


Samsung has sold more than 40 million Galaxy Handsets worldwide, according to the South Korean Tech giant. Last year, Samsung became the global leader of he smart phone shipment. In the third quarter of 2012, the company increased its share of Smartphone shipments to 31.3 %, according to IDC.

In Contrast, Samsung’s rival Apple had a 14.6 % share of the global Smartphone market in the Third quarter of the last year. Now, Apple is ready to set their market position up by launching a new iPhone model, possibly a cheaper one, and superlative low cost phone Smartphone, which is running on Google’s Android operating system.

Samsung official said-The “Driving Force” behind the success line. Within 20 months, 40 million units of Samsung Galaxy S2 sold out in the market. It is the fast seller. In fact, it is the second best selling smart phones for Samsung.The Galaxy S III is selling at much faster rate that is 30 million units in 5 months and 40 million units in 7 months, after becoming a million sellers in only 50 days. Currently in an average about 1, 90,000 units are sales daily.

In the third quarter of 2012, Samsung sold 98 million mobile phones and 55 million smart phones, according to Gartner, which credited the variety of price points in its Galaxy lineup. 


The Samsung sales firm had pointed out- “Further widened the gap with Apple in the Smartphone market.” In comparison to Samsung, Apple finishing third place globally in mobile devices with 23.6 million units of phones whereas Nokia considered second place with 83.5 million sold out in the market place.

Record Profit for Samsung:

Last week, Samsung Experts said it is expected to report record profits of around 80 trillion won (£ 5.2 billion) for the last quarter of 2012, which 89% more than previous year.

The Company’s mobile division got tremendous growth in its profit in recent year and likely to continue with more than 60 million of Samsung’s various Smartphones models shipped in the last quarter, according to economic analyst's estimates.

At last, Samsung is set to launch its new smart phone that is Galaxy S4, which is likely to be come in next month at Samsung Forum at Monaco from 4 to 6 February. The device is expected to come with high-resolution display and powerful processor.
