Apple announced its new smartphone i.e Apple Unlocked iPhone 4 which delivers the same experience to consumers and customers as the locked iPhone 4 gives. In this unlocked model, it allows you to choose the carrier you want to work with. There are several other companies which has been offering unlocked models over the years. But Apple released unlocked device to determine that if they want to stay with the iPhone locked with a particular wireless carrier or do something new.

But i think the consumers and customer should not waste their time or money on the unlocked iPhone 4. Here are the reasons-

1. Expensive- The cost amount of the Unlocked Apple iPhone 4 is $649 and $749. You can purchased the same device for $199 and $299 with two year contract. If you consider either Unlocked iPhone 4 or iPhone 4, the both require mobile phone service to work and saving $450 on a smartphone.

2. Not Good For Local Travelers- The one of the benefit of buying a Unlocked phone is its international support. You can easily access a different carrier's network elsewhere around the world and enjoy the same experience of using the smartphone. But if you does not travel so much then there is no need to buy Unlocked Apple iPhone 4.

3. AT&T's Merger- Currently, there are two GSM providers in the United States, Earlier this month, AT&T's announces that It is going to acquire T-mobile USA for $39 million. This time, if you buy a unlocked iPhone 4, it does not make sense.

4. Drawback- Unlocked Apple iPhone 4 is very expensive and they deliver no benefit over locked version. Apple iPhone 4 is impressive iPhone and packed with some interesting features.

10. Apple iPhone 5 Is Around The Corner- Apple did not announce the iPhone 5 at the Worldwide Developers Conference but it is going to release its new smartphone in upcoming month. So i do not think released Unlocked iPhone 4 is a good idea.
