HTC Sensation 4G: A Well Built Android Smartphone With Plenty Of Power & Slick UI



HTC Sensation 4G is another smartphone in big series of Android devices. The handset supports a vivid 4.3 inch qHD touchscreen display, runs on the latest version 2.3 Gingerbread Operating system and also utilize HTC Sense UI 3.0. There is an 8 megapixel camera with amazing 1.2 GHZ Snapdragon processor and T-mobile fast data speed. HTC Sensation is personally my favourite Android smartphone yet. It is a little slippery & the screen is bit long for the smaller hands. If you are T-mobile user and want the latest & most advanced smartphone then HTC Sensation is perfect choice for you.

1. The Hardware- HTC Sensation has superb 4.3 inch S-LCD capacitive touchscreen with the display resolution of 540*960 pixel. There are four standard Android button -Home, Menu, Back & Search underneath the display. On the left of the mobile phone, you can see a volume rocker and mini USB port. There is 3.5 mm headphone jack and power button at the top.

At the back, HTC Sensation has 8 megapixel camera with dual LED Flash and the speaker is located right next to it. It feels great in the hand and the front glass is also curved a little which gives it a nice touch. In term of pure hardware & build quality- the soft touch casing, scratch resistant glass and metal hardware accents makes it one of the nicest Android device on T-mobile's line up.

2. The Software- HTC Sensation 4G is running on very latest Android 2.3 Gingerbread Operating system with latest version of HTC Sense. The another impressive feature of the mobile phone is Multitasking pane or the task bar. You can quickly turn on Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and more. Even the application screen is a little different with the latest version of HTC Sense. It is high end T-mobile phone and you are able to make calls over Wi-Fi when available.

3. The Web Browser & Multimedia- HTC Sensation 4G also supports standard Android browser skinned with HTC Sense. It is packed with advanced or powerful 1.2 GHz dual core processor. The smartphone is pretty decent in the multimedia department. Its gallery and camera are typical Android versions with some very minor tweaks. From the gallery, you can also share images via email, MMS, a number of social networking services such as Facebook & Twitter. The

The music player of the HTC Sensation 4G is pretty good and the Sense UI skin makes it look gorgeous. The music app has a widget which you can add to your homescreens.

4. The Camera- HTC Sensation 4G offers 8 megapixel camera comes with autofocus, dual LED Flash, Geo-tagging, touch focus, image stabilization, face detection & instant capture. In low light, the flash is able to detail everything with in a 10 to 12 foot radius without drawing out color or casting harsh shadows. The camera also has impressive 1080p video recording capabilities. There is also a secondary camera which is specially used for video calls.

5. The Call Quality & Battery Life- Call quality of the HTC Sensation 4G is not so much impressive. Even the speaker is not good but the battery life of the mobile phone is amazing. The device has standard Li-Ion 1520 mAh battery life and much better as compare to other smartphones. The talk time is up to 6 h 40 min for 2G/8 h 20 min for 3G and the standby time is around 400 g for 2G/350 h for 3G.

6. Conclusion- HTC Sensation is an excellent Android smartphone and running on the latest version of the Android 2.3 Gingerbread Operating system. The handset has a very useful and nicely design user interface- HTC Sense 3.0. It comes with HTC hub which is a positive point. There is an superb 8 megapixel camera with powerful 1.2 GHz Snapdragon processor. The overall performance and the battery life are excellent.
