HP Touchpad Is The First True Rival Of Apple iPad



There is a lot of devices in tablet market such as Motorola Xoom, Blackberry Playbook and Apple iPad 2. Recently, HP announced its latest tablet with the code name of 'HP Touchpad' and supports marvelous features. Even some people are saying- HP Touchpad is really a true rival of Apple iPad. It means the prize is perfect and hitting the same mark as Apple. The internal memory is 64GB which offers free space for data storage.

HP Touchpad operates on WebOS Operating system which is developed by Palm last year. The device features stunning 9.7 inch LED Backlit LCD capacitive touchscreen and the display resolution is of 768*1024 pixel. It is much better for tablets as compare to the tall-screen aspects seen in many Android devices. The tablet is packed with a virtual keyboard, integrated IM & SMS, light sensor, accelerometer sensor, compass and Gyroscope.

HP Touchpad offers 1.3 megapixel webcam with resolution of 1280*1024 pixel and has impressive video recording capabilities. The dimension of the device is 240*190*13.7 mm and the weight is around 740 gram. It comes with a beta version of Adobe's Flash browser plugin which is nice. The other features are Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, with WPA, WPA2, WEP, 802.1X authentication, Bluetooth, charge/micro USB connector with USB 2.0 and much more.
